Join us for a drive through the countryside on Saturday August 30th. Lots of twisties for the slow folks and straight-a-ways for you fast guys. Maps will be provided showing the route, gas stops, and eateries that are along the way. The entire route is 125+ miles, of well paved roads, but there will be several opportunities to make it shorter if you wish. If you go the entire course there will only be about 5 miles on the freeway. You will be on your own schedule so you don't have to try to keep up with others or you can drive in groups. Driving time for the entire route is about 3 hours. On the way you will go through the thriving cities of Smithville, Mo., Edgerton, Mo., Rushville, Mo., and historic Weston, Mo. and Leavenworth, Ks. Weston and Leavenworth are great towns to do some shopping and viewing historic houses and buildings.
